BS in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics – University of Vermont
Connecticut born and raised with a love for adventure, animals, and science. I majored in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics at the University of Vermont where I learned to love Microbiology and fell in love with the field of public health. As an undergraduate, I worked to characterize a protein related to bacterial endocarditis. I also made my way over to the food science industry as a beverage developer for Drinkworks. At Drinkworks I helped to develop and test cocktails for a home bar—a bartender at the press of a button. Going forward I hope to continue my pursuits in public health and obtain my MPH.
In my spare time I love to spend time with my animals, hike and enjoy nature, cook and bake interesting recipes, act as everyone’s favorite mixologist, and read.
