BS in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology – University of Connecticut

MS in Biodiversity and Conservation Biology – University of Connecticut

To say that my interests in Biology are varied is an understatement. As an undergrad at UConn, my research focused on skull morphology and population ecology of Mustelids. As a grad student, I shifted to ecological disturbances of native plant species in the Puerto Rican rainforests. I even tried my hand at the larval development of worms! In the Grubaugh Lab, I sequence Sars-CoV-2 samples and plan to work with other viruses in the future.
