INFORMATION FOR STUDENTS

Prospective Students

Yale School of Public Health’s admissions structure only allows us to offer space in our lab to students who are already enrolled in the university. We recommend visiting the YSPH website for more information on eligibility and how to apply.

While appreciative of interest and inquiries, Dr. Grubaugh is not able to meet with prospective students one-on-one before the formal university interview process.

Students Enrolled at Yale University

MPH and MS students enrolled at Yale University are encouraged to reach out to Dr. Grubaugh via email regarding potential thesis work, summer internships, or post-graduate assistantships.

PhD students admitted to the EMD program are always welcome to rotate in our lab, and students from other programs will be admitted for rotations on a case-by-case basis.

Once a rotation is complete, we will discuss an individual’s fit with the group and do our best to find a place for exceptional students who would like to stay with us for their PhD.
